List Manager Tutorial

A configured list is invisible until you give visitors a way to reach it. There are two: a menu item (a full page) and a module (a block in a template position).

Menu item

1. Go to Menus → [your menu] → Add New Menu Item.
2. Set the Title (e.g. Properties).
3. Click Select next to Menu Item Type and choose List Manager → List Manager.



4. Open the Options tab and pick your list in the List drop-down.



5. Save & Close. The list is now a page on your site.

Module

1. Go to Content → Site Modules → New and choose List Manager.



2. Give it a Title, choose a Position in your template (e.g. sidebar-right).
3. In the module parameters select the list to show.
4. On Menu Assignment choose which pages display it.
5. Save & Close.

In the demo, the Author list is published both as the Authors menu page and as a sidebar module on that page.
