List Manager Tutorial

The User column stores a Joomla user ID and displays that user’s name. It is the key to per-user data: combine it with Show only user records (general Display settings) so each logged-in visitor sees and edits only their own rows.

Behaviour

• On the front end it is normally set automatically to the logged-in user on create.
• In the back end an editor can pick any user.
• Filter or search by user to build an “assigned to” view.
