Hi,
We've just access your site to check it. If you want to see Coordonnées in front and backend you should check "Visible in table" in "Display" tab in field configuration. Once check it we could see in front and backend.
Please let us know if this helps.
Thanks. Regards,
Yeah. Well, my fault, I should have told you more.
Of course I tried that, but it just does not work.
What you see if you click "visible in table" in "Display" is the content of the next column under the Coordonnées column.
In fact, you can't see the content of Coordonnées anywhere (details, exported pdf, search results etc.)
The only place where ou can actually see it is in XLS export which are, I think, exported right from the database.

Hi,
ok, we've been doing some tests here, and we're not sure which were the steps you followed to change the name at the db. Did you actually changed it through a database manager?. We have checked the column name and now it has the accented character so we guess you reverted back to the original name (or that the name change was not succesful). From this point, what we did was:
- Go to list manager->select list->edit db table
- Modify the column name->save. Here we noticed you have another column name with problems: 'type' is a reserved word in mysql, so it can't be used as a column name either, we changed to 'typetxt'.
- Go to Fields/Columns, in order to configure those column again
The list still have some problems to show, we assume there must be any issue when handling the rename columns from reserved words. We'd like to debug directly at your site. Do you have any ftp access you can share for a while so we can quickly solve?
Thanks, best regards

Hi Guillermo,
Thanks for taking the time to investigate this issue.
The column has the accented character because I reverted the database to a previous state after the change totally broke my table in LM.
I noticed the `Type` column too and tried to modifiy its name but was unsuccessful.
I opened an ftp access for you to do your magic.
It's in private date.
Best regards,

Hi,
ok, we confirmed a couple of issues, the first one, is the handling of those renames made through LM. And there is another problem with the already created filters. We're just creating a new release able to handle the column renames covering all cases.
Are you able to restore again the table to its original state? Then we'll be able to adjust the names and filters and hopefully that will do the work.
Thanks, best regards

Thanks you Guillermo,
I'd rather not restore the whole database because I made some changes elsewhere in Joomla.
Which are the tables I should restore ?
Hi,
sure, the whole database is not needed, just the table
xxxxx_annuaire_test
so we can start from the original schema.
Thank you very much for your help

OK. Done.
The table v4ese_annuaire_test is reverted to the state is was on september 30.
Hi,
great, thanks. We've installed a new LM version, then changed the name of the column with the accent, and now it seems to work. Please recheck the configuration of the 2 fields (coordonees and type), just in case you had any specific setting there..
In case the field 'type' gives you any problem, you can also change its name, but in that case you will need also to re-save the filter you have set with that field.
Please take a look from your side in order to confirm it works as expected and let us know if you have further problems.
Thanks, regards

OK, many thanks Guillermo !
Everything seems all right to me. I just noticed some repetitions in the Type filter but I'll just do what you said and change its name if it persist at getting in the way !
I'll just add that your support is great !
Kind regards,

Hi,
I just realized I had a problem with one of my columns in the database I imported / migrated from J3.
The data from this particular column does not display but I can see it in the database using phpMyAdmin.
I suspect the problem comes from the name of this column : it's named "Coordonnées" with an accentuated character. That's bad.
Unfortunately, when I tried to edit this column name in the database to remove the accentuated character, what I feared happened : I totally lost my table : I could select it, edit its options and everything but it didn't show any record either in front or back-office.
Do I have to redo everything from scratch or is there a way to display the data from this column ?
Access given in private data.
Thx.
