we checked your other question regarding this issue. You had a problem with an update and your db had a couple of missing fields ('prefix and suffix at calcbuilder_field table), we added them, but it's not likely to be the problem now as you say you have cloned the site so the fields should be there already. Even if this is not the problem, we strongly suggest to move your customizations 'outside' the calcbuilder core code, because you won't be able to update the extension anymore otherwise, and we won't be able to give the best support for it.

Then you asked about the instructions for the mask, and here we copy the last entry to that ticket:


yes, the mask has a closed set of options to choose from when configuring the pattern. You have :

'0' : Number (0-9)
'9' : Optional number(0-9)
'#' : Number (any length)
'A' : Any number or letter (a-z A-Z)
'S' : Letter (a-z A-Z)

if you introduce any other character it won't have any effect.

So, for covering the case of 'any character' in latest version we have added a new option

'X' : Any character

that you can use for allowing any number, letter or symbol at your input.
