Today's date not appearing... 18.03.2016 06:00
Date field using the "today" type, no date values appear when the form loads, just the international banned symbol when I mouse over the field. If I save a record then look at it in the admin manage data the field is empty. Are their other attributes I need to set to have the date appear when the form loads?

Hi,
in order to get date fields working properly (both the 'date' and 'today' fields) you need to set which is your preferred date format. This is set at your list->configuration->front view config->'date format' and 'database date format' fields. For ex you can set it to
yy-mm-dd
m/d/y
...etc
If you're not getting dates from another external source with a different format you will want to set date format and database format to the same value.

Hi,
that format is not valid, you can check the popup instructions about valid formats next to each parameter. For showing year with 4 digits you must use yy.
If with this correction the date is still not showing you must be facing any js issue at your page, if you share an url we can debug your site and let you know which is the origin of the problem.
