Calc does nothing 10.11.2012 14:38
Hi
New to calc builder but not to Joomla
Cant get it to work on a live site so I installed j1.5.26 on a test site
Installed moonsoft tester and get these results
Javascript
Init test -> Javascript
Mootools version:1.2.5
jQuery version:1.4.2
Server/PHP
Init test -> Server/PHP
PHP version 5.2.17
POST Max size: 10M
Upload Max size: 10M
installed the com_ and mod_ of calc builder
imported the simple calc from the downloads page
Fields show, calc button shows but nothing happens (No output)
If i use a letter or decimal i am warned so something is working on the page
but still no output
Test site
www.danellmore.co.uk/colin
Thanks
Colin

On our site we have the j1.5 system mootools upgrade plugin enabled, and SCjquery enabled
If i switch both off, the calc works
Javascript
Init test -> Javascript
Mootools version:1.12
Form Validator library found
Browser :Netscape -> version : 5.0 (Windows)
Mootools wrapper loaded
Ajax calls ok
We also use SCjquery plugin, This plugin is used to load jQuery javascript library, and set "no conflict" mode to allow usage with mootools, and other libraries. No conflict mode remove the "$" operator from jQuery, allowing other libraries to use that operator
If i switch it on, the calc works
Javascript
Init test -> Javascript
Mootools version:1.12
jQuery version:1.4.2
Form Validator library found
Browser :Netscape -> version : 5.0 (Windows)
Mootools wrapper loaded
Ajax calls ok
So its the mootools upgrade that is the problem, how do i cure that?

Hello,
calcbuilder uses a wrapper to handle different versions of mootools, no problem with jquery if noconflict is present, as you state at your post, but maybe is facing any issue when swithching to your mootools upgraded version. Could you please enable again the mootools upgrade?. We'll debug on your site and look for the error origin.
Thank you, regards

Hi,
ok,thank you, we've found some functions not available at mootools 1.2.5 that are stopping the script. Please check the download page in order to download a module release that fixes your issue.
Let us know how it's going.
